Tower Of Fantasy Announces Vera Launch Date, Ups Pricing For iOS Versions

Tower of Fantasy players won't have long to wait until they can step foot in the anime MMORPG's new Vera region as Perfect World finally announces the release date for Version 2.0. The new desert region, along with the new cyberpunk city of Mirroria, will be opening their doors on October 20th, marking the game's first major update since its global launch in August.

The new region will come with a bunch of new quests, monsters, and raids to take on along with new weapons to help you overcome the new challenges. The developers will be offering a sneak peek at the update's contents in a livestream scheduled for October 13th for those who want a guided tour ahead of its release.

Meanwhile, Perfect World will be increasing purchase prices on iOS tomorrow, October 5th, to offset Apple's price hike in different regions, including the US. The price increase for microtransactions will apply to all iOS versions of the game in all regions regardless of whether or not the region is affected by Apple's pricing changes.

"Due to the fact that TOF is a multi-country and multi-platform game with the same version and the price of items cannot be adjusted individually to countries that are affected by Apple's policy change, the purchase price of in-game items for all iOS players will be changed according to Apple's policy changes," Perfect World explained.

The Android and PC versions of the game will not be affected by the price increase
